All tournament details and answers to most questions can be found on the tournament website. Here are some additional details sent to me by the tournament in preparation for this weekend:

Media Release/Student Waiver: prior to Thursday, please download a copy of this entry release form waiver and get it signed. You can leave the signed copy in the right side desk drawer in 279. 

SRA: I submitted the SRA request for debaters to be released after 5th period on Thursday and Friday and Speech to be released after 5th on Friday. This should give you enough time to get home, get set up, and run a final test of your technology and internet prior to rounds dropping at 3PM.

Test Your Technology: Please make sure your technology and internet is compatible with NSDA Campus…

If you are coming to banquet (which hopefully is everyone!!) you MUST RSVP

This weekend, Mingyu is competing in Congress and representing DV at the JW Patterson Tournament of Champions in Kentucky. This is a prestigious tournament with a competitive qualification process and we are proud of Mingyu and the hard work and dedication he’s put in this year to earn the bids required to compete. Good luck Mingyu- we know you’ve got this!

Also, an extra shoutout and thanks to Manseong for the serving as team coach, chaperone, and Congress judge this weekend (and epitomizing the whole “it’s a family thing)!

If you are driving or riding with another student you need to get it signed by your parents and Mr. Walther. It must be signed tomorrow morning if you’re going tomorrow or by Friday morning if you’re going on Friday. I left some paper copies in 279 in case you need one.

Be sure to turn your signed form in to Mr. Gonzales prior to leaving for Brophy. He will be the coach in charge on Thursday and Friday.

Hi everyone-

We have a bus for Saturday, but we do not have busses for Thursday or Friday so we need to coordinate and confirm rides for everyone and make sure everyone has the correct permission forms.

Thursday, 3/26

BQ and LD will be SRA’d on Thursday at 1:30pm. Round 1 starts at 3:45PM and you need to be at Brophy by 2:45PM. We only have 6 competitors and Mr. G for this day and Abaas and Ayaan are coordinating/providing rides. Please let me know ASAP if this isn’t correct or if you do not have a ride confirmed.

Tomorrow is the Tabroom deadline for making entry changes for Natquals. If we do not have the required judges I will have to drop entries tomorrow to avoid additional fees. Please read through this message to see what judges we still need and which entries will need to be dropped if we don’t get them.

Speech- We still need 1 more judge for Friday or we have to drop 3 entries. Karina, Frida, Neha, Tisha, Finn, Emery, and Leaya have secured judges so their entries are cleared (provided the necessary scripts have been submitted and/or turned in to Turnitin by tomorrow).

PF- We have zero judges for Friday and without Friday judges, we won’t be able to take any PF teams. At a minimum, we need one 1 judge on Friday to be able to take 2 teams (Reagan and Anaiya and Mia and Quintessa have met judge coverage by…
