Since many people were absent from practice, here is a list of upcoming dates. Please pay attention to these deadlines as missing them could mean you miss out!
February 20: Deadline for state judges
We need 30 judge slots filled as of 2/19 @ 9am. We don't want to drop people because we couldn't find judges. Ask 1-2 people today to sign up. Judge registration is https://tstdc.com/judge

BQ – 3 Fri, 3 Sat
Policy – 3 Fri, 3 Sat
LD – 2 Sat
PF – 1 Fri, 2 Sat
Speech – 3 Sat AM, 9 Sat PM
February 21: Desert Moon
Desert Moon is our mock state tournament. Doors open at 8:30am and close at 9:00am. Deadline to sign up has passed. No RSVP = No food!
February 25: State Team Dinner
Because our team reached our fundraising goal, state team dinner will be at Chuck E. Cheese! Ask your parents to drive you there, or drive yourself/ask a teammate if you have the paperwork. Deadline to sign up is today, Feb. 19. No RSVP = No food or games!
February 23 - February 26: State Week
Practice will run until 7pm every day next week. Plan accordingly, as the deadline for absences is today. Missing state week or Desert Sun without notification may jeopardize your state spot!
February 27 - February 28: State!!!!!!
March 14 / March 26 - March 28: National Qualifier Tournament
Congress qualification will be March 14 @ Mesa High School and all other events will be March 26 - 28 @ Brophy College Prep. If you want to have a chance to go to Nationals this year, you must attend this tournament.
If you are free for the Congress qualification day, consider being a Congress filler. It's really fun and doesn't require any prep. This is also a great way to learn about Congress if you are interested in picking it up next year.
