Tournament Week Reminders
Happy tournament week! Just a heads up that I teach classes on Mondays so won’t be at practice today. Mr. Gonzales will be there if you need anything.
Any changes (drops) made to Toro entries after 4PM today will result in us being charged a fee. Please keep in mind that last minute drops are problematic for us as a team (cost money and impact number of judges needed) and for the tournament administrators who are working hard to organize rounds and pair debates.
Anyone who is not competing this weekend but would like to spectate must email me by 6PM TODAY so I can confirm if there is room on the bus for spectators and can request SRA approvals (if necessary). You must be in good academic standing to be approved for an SRA. Please include which day/events you would like to spectate in your email. I will confirm and let you know if there is room/approval for spectators at practice on Wednesday.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13
Congress students dismissed at 2:30
Bus leaves DV at 3PM
Return to DV after session ends - 8:30PM (est)
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 14
Congress leaves DV at 6:15AM
Debate dismissed at 1:30PM
Debate leaves DV at 1:45PM
Everyone returns to DV after rounds around 10PM
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15
Full team leaves DV at 6AM
Full team return to DV after awards around 9PM
